I love cookbooks and have been collecting cookbooks for over 20 years. If I had to guess, I would estimate that I have around 250 various cookbooks in my collection. With that said, I had NO cookbooks like this next one and was pretty excited about receiving it for my review.
Whether you're an occasional holiday home baker or a seasonal pro, you'll absolutely delight in Julie's designs and ideas. This fun & creative book features tempting cookie decorating ideas for a wide array of occasions and holidays.

My Thoughts: First of all, I love that this book lays flat on my counter top when I am using it and I appreciate that it's a hardcover cookbook. The step-by-step color photographs are fantastic and the written instructions are fantastic! Everything is laid out nicely for the beginner and the experienced cookie decorator will love the fresh designs and decorating tips that are throughout the book.

Seriously there is a cookie design for every holiday and every occasion within the pages of this fabulous book! I love that there is a chapter on cookie recipes (like the Pumpkin Spice Sugar Cookies on page 43) and there is an entire chapter on teaching you various cookie decorating tips.
Once you own this fabulous book, you won't need another! Seriously, it's that comprehensive but everything within it is laid out in a super easy and understandable way that even a newbie cookie decorator like myself can understand. With the holidays coming up, I plan on trying out several of the holiday cookie designs.
