Looking for a cocktail that is different from all those classics that you've tried? Looking for one that is easy-to-make, tastes great and only requires a handful of ingredients? If so, you're going to appreciate our guest-post recipe that's courtesy of Santa Margherita Prosecco. It will make 8-10 servings.

2 whole pears, peeled, cored and diced
1 large piece of ginger, peeled and diced

Remove from heat and let the mixture steep for an additional 10 minutes. Strain the syrup into a large canning jar or thick glass bowl. Discard the ginger and sage leaves.
