I absolutely love seafood and one of my favorite things to eat is homemade crab cakes! This recipe is really easy to make and is one my family really enjoys. It is one of our favorite seafood recipes. We like to make double batches and freeze some for later use. They reheat up nicely in the microwave, oven or in a skillet with a little butter.
Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes Recipe
1 lb. jumbo lump crab meat
1 cup mayonnaise
1 large egg
1 teaspoon mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon seafood seasoning (I use Old Bay)
1 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 teaspoon parsley
dash of lemon juice
In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients except for the crab meat. Toss crab meat into the bowl with the ingredients, lightly...so that you don't break apart the meat. Form into 4 or 5 large patties. Place patties in a baking dish that has been lightly coated with nonstick cooking spray. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 18-20 minutes or until done.
